21/1/21 - COVID19 UPDATE: My practice is currently full, and I am unable to take on new clients. This website will be updated when I am able to see new clients. I am seeing clients using video app Zoom. I have a blog post about working online here.
MSc, MBACP (reg)
I am a Sheffield-based counsellor/psychotherapist.
I am an integrative therapist. This means I use a mixture of techniques I am trained in, particularly CBT, attachment and person-centred techniques. Together we work to help you explore, understand and grow, and support you facing the challenges life can present you with.
The work we do together is adapted to suit your needs; no two people are the same, so we'll work together to build a relationship that works for you.
If you have any worries, questions or queries, please explore this site or contact me, and I'll respond promptly.
Where am I based?
I see clients in my therapy space at The Harland Works, Unit 13, 70 John Street.
We are easily accessible by public transport; catch the bus to London Road.
We are a short walk from the town centre, less than 20 minutes from Sheffield Town Hall.
There is a mixture of free and pay and display on road parking around Harland Works.
We also have ample spaces to lock up a bike.
Children and Young People
I no longer see clients under the age of 18 at Unit 13, Harland Works. Instead, I use the purpose built spaces at the Apple Tree Centre, whilst working there as an associate. The Apple Tree Centre offers a brilliant facility for working with children and young people, and can be contacted here.
Unit 13 is up two flights of stairs, and is consequently not accessible to people with mobility issues or wheelchair users. Please contact me if this is a barrier to accessing therapy, as alternative arrangements are possible.
